How many games will we play?

All schools will play a minimum of four games in the first week of round robin matches. The ladder leaders will progress to the finals in the second week.

How much will it cost me?

Costs will depend on where you are travelling from and the accommodation a school chooses and the individuals room preference. See costs for more information.

What grounds will we play on?

All games will be played on first-class and international grounds, and all schools will play at least one game on an international ground.

What do I need to bring?

Other than what you would usually bring to a tropical destination, you only need to bring your kit bag and whites. You will be playing on turf wickets, so you will require spiked footwear.

Do I need a visa to enter Sri Lanka?

Yes, a visa is required.  Apply online or talk to your school about what is required..

Can my family come with me?

Your family is more than welcome. We will be offering packages for players’ families and school supporters and officials to keep expenses as low as possible for everyone. Discounted tours will also be available for players and families.

Do we get time to see Sri Lanka?

Schools will play every second day or two days on two days off for the first week, and will continue to play every second day through the finals if they keep winning. So even if your school makes it all the way to the grand final, you will still have time to explore Sri Lanka. If your school doesn’t make the finals, then we will have a range of discounted tours to suit all tastes though out Sri Lanka. One of the reasons for the SCC being played in Sri Lanka is because of what this spectacular country has to offer.
